SelfSpark - Terms & Conditions

Applies to: selfspark.app, selfsparkapp.com, beta access pages, and the SelfSpark mobile app

1. Introduction

SelfSpark provides personal habit-building tools, journaling features, and AI-generated insights. By accessing the public website, the open/closed beta pages, or by using the SelfSpark application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

2. Beta Access Disclaimer (Open / Closed Beta)

SelfSpark may release early versions of the app through:

• Closed testing (invitation-only test tracks)
• Open beta (public early access)
• Website early previews (landing pages, limited demos, signup forms)

During beta phases:

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
• Data may be reset, migrated, or deleted as part of testing.
• Performance, stability, and accuracy are not guaranteed.
• Feedback may be collected to improve the product.

Beta access is provided "as is", without warranties.

3. Accounts & Responsibilities

When creating or using a SelfSpark account:

• Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• Use the app for personal habit tracking and journaling only.
• You may not share, sublicense, or resell access.
• You agree to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Habit System & AI-Generated Insights

SelfSpark includes adaptive difficulty, streak tracking, and AI-powered recommendations.

• Suggestions are informational; users remain responsible for choosing habit difficulty.
• AI-generated insights are automated and may not always be accurate.
• These features do not replace professional medical, psychological, or mental health advice.

Algorithms may change over time to improve accuracy and user experience.

5. Journals, Data Ownership & Processing

You retain ownership of journal entries and personal reflections.

By submitting journal content, you grant SelfSpark a license to:

• Process entries to generate insights, summaries, or recommendations
• Store and analyze entries for streak tracking and habit-related features
• Improve AI models and personalization algorithms

SelfSpark does not publish journal content publicly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal material
• Attempt to break, interfere with, or reverse engineer the service
• Use the platform for automated scraping, exploitation, or mass data collection

The service may be suspended for violations of acceptable use.

7. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All content on openselfspark.app, selfspark.app, and related pages - including branding, images, text, code, and UI elements - is owned by SelfSpark unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, redistribute, or modify content without permission.

8. Service Availability & Limitations

SelfSpark may modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the product at any time.

We are not responsible for:

• Data loss during beta testing
• Downtime, bugs, or feature interruptions
• Decisions you make based on insights or recommendations

SelfSpark provides tools for personal development but cannot guarantee habit outcomes.

9. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when introducing new features, algorithms, or policies. Continued use of the app or website implies acceptance of the updated terms.

The "Effective" date will always show the latest revision.
